In a nutshell:Every financial agreement requires two parties. We call them Party One and Party Two.
We understand that being referred to as Party One or Party Two is impersonal, so as soon as you identify yourself to the platform, we'll refer to you from that point forward by your first name.
Basic Workflow:Sign Up via our Registration.
Party One creates a Party One personal, relationship and financial profile for the selected agreement
Party Two creates a Party Two personal, relationship and financial profile for the same selected agreement
Party One and Party Two can then review the Summary Report to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information entered into the platform.
Party One and Party Two can explore the Decisions functionality of the platform, building on standard Decision Plans, or creating their own Decison Plans (or scenarios) which will later be reflected in the settlement summary and the agreement (dependant on the product purchased).
Party One and Party Two can review the disclosed financial summary prior to seeking on-platform legal advice to complete a Consent Orders or Binding Financial Agreement.
Profiles - Party One and Party Two:Profiles record only that information required by your chosen agreement.
Each profile is divided for convenience into sections, however some may sections may not be relevant to your personal circumstances.
Sections include:
Identity, Addresses, Relationship, Employment and Income, Companies and Trusts, Assets and Liabilities, Spousal Maintenance, Agreement Process and Extra.
Sections will be populated with the details of your assigned Legal Panel or Advisor, should your product include one.
Agreement Process:The agreement process is divided into sections (which will be populated dependent on the product purchased).
This report provides a structured overview of the disclosed financial arrangements between two parties as outlined for the chosen financial agreement. It includes a summary of key relationship details, asset and liability distribution, superannuation interests, business and trust holdings, spousal maintenance, and dependents.
Once the full asset and liabilities have been disclosured within the platform, it's time to contemplate decisions.
The decisions component is where users model or test and review impact of the chosen financial decisions.
When choosing to purchase either a Consent Orders or a Binding Financial Agreement, the chosen financial agreement will be automatically populated and become available for each party's solicitors to finalise and prepare for signing.
